    --NOBODY WILL ENJOY THIS--
A re-mastered edition of the 1986 C.I.A. Records cassette and Kinkos photocopied art. David Notarius, George L. Shea and I collaborated for two years to pull this one off. What a labor of love for animal lovers who never grew up. We requested cassette recordings from groups or images that infected us. We contacted potential collaborators by mail, email, phone, and bicycles. MaxRnR/Unsound/OP Magazine/and others gave leads. The recordings are offensive, annoying, and humorous.

about

A compilation originally released as A&B sides of a 90 minute cassette tape. David Notarius, George L. Shea, and Bob Weber solicited tracks and page art from groups far and wide. The selected recordings were mastered by Steve Cook. The team produced, packaged, and published the booklet and odd sounds as CIA-017. Now it is remastered by Scott Ayers and rereleased as a Digipack for your self abuse.

*Domokos transferred the cassette tape to digital format a few years ago.
*Scott Ayers took those digital files, trimmed and snipped them like a master gardener, and then mastered the mess to make it work for the CD format.
*Gary Yokie did a remarkable job of taking a booklet that was photocopied 35 years ago on 8-1/2"x11" paper and turning it into a 32 page booklet that fits inside the CD. He also did the digipack cover art and disc art.
*And PackagedSounds in the UK managed to turn all that stuff into a slick little dogpile of noise.
